This Patch requires some explaining! This patch was created mostly by SSgt Daryl P Tate II. Even though we were ECM by trade we preformed Sensor tasks while in the 5th. We worked on a Data Link here represented by the chain around the crows neck. Senior Ruby, which is hung on the chain. Senior Spear is where the other Lightning bolts should be. As you can see our lightning bolts are tucked away for the day we will get to do ECM duties again!
|
This is the OPS patch the pilots
wore. Since the original red patch was replaced by this one we had to put
"Oscar" on the patch to continue good luck! If you look real
close you can see "Oscar" in black inside the globe!

Hey this is such a cool picture. To find me look to the right and find the pilot holding his helmet. To his right you will see a taller brown headed man he is Msgt Hahn, to his right is Msgt Lee, and to his right is me! The guy to my right is retired SSgt Mitchke (Man that uni is faded!) To go to the site where this picture is located go to http://www.thepoint.net/~jstone/blackcatsintro.html there you can get a full history of the U-2 Blackcats squad.

This is a site that may be getting better, but I doubt it. He was in Korea when I was there, but I vaguely remember him: http://www.widomaker.com/~champr/splash.html
